9th-12th Grade
The goal of this physical education class is to introduce and teach the basic fundamentals of various individual and team related activities as well as health and fitness activities. This class will give individuals a basic knowledge of how to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Students will be introduced to S.M.A.R.T. goals and learn to use the FITT principle for meeting these goals. Students will have pre-and post- class fitness testing to assess their goals and progress made toward them. Classes will consist of education components, and physical activity. Daily participation at home is required.
