SUMMARY:Iowa Assessment
DESCRIPTION:The Iowa Assessment is an achievement test that measures student knowledge in core academic areas. The importance of these tests are to ensure student readiness\, academic decision making (such as intervention plans and placement decisions) and to evaluate student mastery. RCA will use these tests to ensure the scholastic program continues to be strong and that students demonstrate academic growth from year to year.  \n\n\n\nSince the assessment is around 6 hours long\, we will split the test between two days: Monday\, April 17th and Wednesday\, April 19th at Renew Christian Academy. Each testing day will start at 8:30am and end at 11:30am.  \n\n\n\nThe cost of the test is $35.00 per student.  \n\n\n\nPlease RSVP with your child’s first and last name\, current grade and test payment. RSVP will be available until March 17th. \n\n\n\nBefore testing day\, we will offer a test readiness session for students to get a good understanding on what to expect during testing\, practice questions\, strategies and more.
