This class will focus on novels, short stories, and poetry that have withstood the test of time. ACT/SAT practice will be incorporated in class. Students will be guided in writing a research paper in the Spring term.
Materials:
- 1/2″ inch, 3-ring binder or pocket folder with braids in the middle for notes
- 4 Binder dividers with pockets
- Loose leaf paper in binder (college-ruled)
- Black pens/pencils
- Yellow highlighters
- Red pens
- Spring semester: index cards for research paper & pocket folder
