In this broken world, our Biblical beliefs are often challenged in college classrooms, on various media platforms, and while engaging in conversations with others. Also, sudden hardships and other life experiences can cause people to question their faith and what they have always believed in the past.
In this class, students will discover the enduring reliability of the Bible as the Word of God and address common questions about its accuracy. Additionally, students will engage in meaningful discussions with their peers about contemporary issues, using God’s Word as a guiding light. Students will discover that the Bible is the ultimate source of wisdom and truth for everyday life.
Also, this class will help students understand the different worldviews and popular philosophies held today, including pluralism (the view that all views are equally valid), atheism, scientism, humanism, relativism, and hedonism. Most importantly, this class will equip students to search for answers in Scripture for themselves, develop their own beliefs and convictions based on a Biblical worldview, and share their faith with others in a Christ-like way.
