This high school class will explore the historical and cultural background of the Bible, providing insightful information about the cultures and geography of the ancient world. Students will also gain a general knowledge of the Bible’s development and a chronological view of biblical history. By discovering the rich background of the Bible, students will better grasp the depth and significance of the Biblical text. Additionally, students will examine the Bible’s impact on later cultures, societies, and religions. This class will also present the Bible as alive and an essential tool that God has given us to navigate our lives.

Throughout the class, students will participate in discussions, cooperative learning, and have opportunities to express their thoughtful ideas.
