In this class, students will discover the rich historical and cultural background of the Bible, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of Scripture and its life-giving message. They will also develop a chronological view of Scripture and gain insightful information about the cultures and geography of the ancient world. Additionally, students will explore the Bible’s impact on later cultures, societies, and religions. This class will also present the Bible as God’s Living Word to guide their lives.
Throughout the class, students will engage in discussions, collaborate with peers, and have opportunities to express their thoughtful ideas.
Supplies Needed:

- An assortment of pens, pencils, and Bible highlighters
- Dry-erase lap/whiteboard, 9×12 (or so). Any 9×12 whiteboard will do, or here’s an option you can order on Amazon: click here.
- Dry erase markers (preferably fine tip) with an eraser. Any will do, or here’s an option you can order on Amazon: click here.
- Lab Fee: The lab fee is $15, which covers the cost of printing the class workbook provided by the teacher.
