Brigitt Tissot

Brigitt is a dedicated math and chemistry educator with over 27 years combined of teaching and then tutoring students from elementary through high school. She holds both a bachelor’s (in cellular molecular biology) and master’s degree (M.A.C) from the University of Michigan and taught high school chemistry in a public school.

She took a few years off after her 2 children were born and has been tutoring math and chemistry for the last 20 years.

Brigitt is passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a lifelong appreciation for chemistry and math. 

She has been married for over 28 years and is a mom of 2 adored, young adult children.  Outside the classroom, she enjoys exercising, traveling, playing games, reading, watching UM and UTK football (especially when they are good) and spending quality time with her friends and family.
