Kim Duarte

Kim has been teaching the Bible in various settings since 2005. She has experience in conducting workshops on Biblical interpretation for adults and leading Bible studies for youth. Additionally, she has worked as a Middle School English teacher in a Christian school and as a substitute teacher in a similar setting. She homeschooled her two sons, with her youngest graduating in 2022.

In 2012, Kim completed her Masters in Biblical Studies. She also authored a book that teaches people step-by-step ways on how to read and understand the Bible. Kim is dedicated to teaching her students how to read and interpret the Bible in context, discern sound Biblical truth, and personally apply Scripture with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Kim spends time writing Bible-centered resources and teaching people how to read the Bible through workshops, podcasts, and wherever the Lord opens the door. In her free time, she likes to read biographies and go on adventures with her family…and nothing makes her more excited than a road trip!

Renew Christian Academy holds a special place in Kim’s heart because her youngest son graduated there, having grown spiritually, academically, and personally. She feels grateful and privileged to be a part of this school. Kim-Christine is excited for the upcoming year and is looking forward to seeing her students connect with God’s word in a meaningful way.
