Marji Mennenn
My name is Marji Mennen. My husband and I both grew up in Williamson County and have moved numerous times across the country for the 36 years we have been married. I was part of the very first graduating class of Brentwood High School and earned my teaching degree from University of Tennessee, Knoxville. We have a son and daughter-in-law in Denver (with two precious granddaughters) and a daughter In Raleigh. I am a teacher from a family of educators and whether directly teaching or not, I have always been involved in education. I have taught middle school English and preschool, trained writers and editors for a large company, and worked with high school students with disabilities who were interning in a hospital. I have also volunteered in schools tutoring in writing and reading as well as coordinated a reading program with schools, classes and volunteers. When not having fun with family and friends, I love to read, quilt, and walk. We are so blessed after all the years of moving to finally be home and I am thrilled to return to teaching at RCA.
